Here is how we did our experiment when we went to each restaurant. Before we left the school, we made sure we had everything we needed. We needed a pencil and our Rating Sheets. Then we went to the fast food restaurant. |

| When the person in front of us went up to order the person behind them rated their waiter. It was very important that we all behaved well so we would not effect how the waitress thought of us. We wanted to see if they treated people differently because of their race, not because they didn't like our behavior. | |
| The person doing the rating didn't write down it down until the people at the restaurant couldn't see them. | |
| When we got back to school, we completed our Over-All Restaurant Friendliness Ratings and turned in our Rating Sheets. | |
